We are once again giving all athletes who took part in our race last year, the opportunity for an early bird entry . However, the cut off for early entries is.... 15 June 2010 , after which it will be first come first serve. Follow the procedure below and let your entries roll in.

Novices can also send entry forms; the quicker you do it, the better your chances.

THE RACE WILL TAKE PLACE ON

If your entry is accepted ( you will be notified at the end of June ), please take note that you cannot transfer your entry to another athlete. We will at that stage already have an official waiting list, and those athletes have to be helped first. Once your entry has been accepted, full race details will follow.

Hopefully we will again have a goodie bag for everyone. PLEASE ASSIST ME BY FINDING ANY PRODUCT WE CAN PUT INTO THE GOODIE BAG (we need 300 items of each).

Our famous race jacket will be handed to all individuals who complete 80 kms for the first time, as well as special jackets to those obtaining their permanent numbers (4 completed races).

SPONSORSHIPS ARE A HUGE PROBLEM GIVEN THE CURRENT ECONOMIC SITUATION. I have been presenting this race (with the support of loyal athletes – those are you !!) for many a year and we have made it each year. the last three years without a main sponsor. Please help me find sponsors and donations to keep the standard of the race up (the standard of our race is well-known).

This is not my race, I am simply doing the organising so that you can have the joy.
